Data Strategist Lead

The Data Strategist Lead is a transformational leader to enhance our competitive advantage in data solution and delivery capabilities to accelerate Real World Evidence (RWE) generation in whole product life cycle from clinical development and medical affairs activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Drive the development and execution of comprehensive Real-World Data (RWD) strategies across compounds and disease area which includes strategic RWD acquisition, development and delivery
• Maximize the opportunities to utilize RWDs by leveraging advancing government strategy and shaping environmental challenges to solve the key RWD capability gaps and regulatory acceptance
• Deliver the analysis ready dataset, reporting and analytics that allows seamless downstream consumption, standardization and integration of RWD available for use with fidelity, quality and compliance
• Build-up the key capabilities in advanced analytics including user-centric RWD platform by partnering with IT department and other technology solution vendors

Minimum Qualification Requirements

• Master degree in Data Science, Medical informatics, Health informatics or equivalent, and more than 3 years of experience in data management and statistical analysis in clinical trials or clinical observational studies using real-world data
• Excellent communication skills (in Japanese and English Business level) with multiple related departments (both domestic and international)
• Logical, scientific, and strategic thinking abilities

Additional preference: Experience in Database deployment and validation, Standardization of Medical information, Strong programming skills (SAS, R, Python etc), Data analytics and research in health care domain
