The Department of Public Health at Faculty of Health Sciences at Aarhus University invites applications for a position as Associate Professor in the field of Reproductive Epidemiology as per 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is a fixed-term 20% part-time position for 36 months.
The right candidate will be affiliated with the BIOSFER project. BIOSFER investigates how social, biological, and psychological factors shape emerging fertility patterns among young adults, and to what extent differences in fertility outcomes between social groups can be explained by social and biomedical factors and is funded by an ERC Synergy Grant. The project brings together researchers from Aarhus University, the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (MPIDR), and the Centre for Fertility and Health at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health.
