The University invites applicants for a full-time Teaching Assistant Professor to the research group of Veterinary Anatomy and Pathology, Section of Parasitology and Pathobiology, Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences to commence 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The research group of Veterinary Anatomy and Pathology focus on the development of models for human and veterinary diseases in mammals together with the development of new diagnostic methods. This includes animal infectious diseases and welfare related lesions as well as laboratory related aspects. Besides the research activities, the research group is also highly involved with teaching in relation to veterinary education.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic full-time Teaching Assistant Professor within veterinary anatomy and veterinary pathology. The position is linked to veterinarian education and includes primarily teaching in courses related to veterinary anatomy and pathology including supervision of students. The candidate needs to be able to contribute and further develop teaching within veterinary anatomy and pathology.

Salary and employment terms are set in accordance with the Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and AC (Danish Confederation of Professional Associations) or other relevant professional organizations.
The position is covered by the Job Structure for Academic Staff at Universities 2026. The position is 37 hours per week and is not time limited. The successful candidate must complete university pedagogy training and may, upon positive evaluation, be employed as an associate professor within 6 years of employment.
The average weekly working hours are 37 hours per week.
