We are now seeking a driven and methodologically strong associate researcher. At the Division of Social Medicine and Global Health (SMGH), we work with global public health issues in education, research, and capacity development in collaboration with the global community. Our activities are carried out in close cooperation with international organizations and international partners through long-term and equitable collaborations, with ongoing projects in education, research, and capacity development in several countries.
The division is located at the Department of Clinical Sciences in Malmö and is led by Professor Anette Agardh. The division consists of researchers, teachers, statisticians, and administrative staff.

This position will be part of a collaboration with region Skåne and will involve research and teaching. The research tasks involve participation in health economic research projects on investigating vaccine hesitancy and inequalities in Sweden and the impact of financing for child disabilities on parents' mental health and well-being. This role includes data preparation involving cleaning of data from various national registers, econometric and statistical processing and analysis of the data, writing scientific articles, and engaging stakeholders.

The position is a fixed-term employment at 40%, for 12 months, with a preliminary start date of 1 June 2026 or as agreed.
