We are looking for a Research Specialist who will help us develop the future collection, analysis and integration of advanced, multimodal brain imaging data created at the Center for Imaging Research (CIR), and help us develop stimulation and acquisition methods for data collection, and for integration between multimodal brain imaging data collected at CIR and data from other data domains. The position has a focus on emerging technologies and methods in MEG and MRI.
The position will be located at Karolinska Institutet (KI), at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Neuro division, within the Brain & Mind environment, in research group Lundqvist. We offer an inspiring job in a stimulating and international work environment in a research team focusing on experimental brain imaging, using MEG (conventional, and OPM) and MRI (3T and 7T) and PET. You will be part of a growing team shaping a new role, evolving from and integrating with the successful existing structures at NatMEG, Brain & Mind and CIR.
The successful candidate will research new and develop existing methods, services and education efforts that improve the utility and accessibility to users from industry, academia and healthcare who want to use multimodal data for brain imaging. The Research Specialist contributes to the ongoing improvement of services provided by imaging facilities within the CIR and is expected to guide and support KI researchers, mainly those who are users of multimodal brain imaging at the CIR.

To be eligible for employment as a Research Specialist, in addition to holding a Degree of Doctor, PhD, or having a foreign degree deemed equivalent to a Swedish doctoral degree, the applicant must have demonstrated research expertise as well as have documented research experience after defending their doctoral dissertation.
