Genethra is seeking a Molecular & Structural Biology Scientist to support research at the molecular and atomic scale. This role focuses on understanding biological structures, molecular interactions, protein behavior, and mechanisms that can guide AI-designed therapies.

NOTE: Genethra is a subsidiary of BalanX Bio focused specifically on advancing biology-driven research and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze or generate structural biology data from methods such as cryo-EM, X-ray crystallography, NMR, or molecular simulation.
• Support validation of AI-designed proteins, gene editors, or molecular systems.
• Study protein structure, binding, stability, and function.
• Collaborate with AI teams to connect structural data with generative biology models.
• Document findings for internal research and model improvement.

Requirements

• Background in structural biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, biophysics, or related field.
• Familiarity with protein structure, molecular interactions, or simulation tools.
• Experience with experimental or computational molecular analysis.
• Strong scientific reasoning and documentation skills.
• Interest in AI-guided molecular design.
