Position performs clinical sample processing, archiving and sample management. Perform routine and/or special assays on blood and body fluids and human brain tissue.There is an opportunity available for a Clinical Laboratory Technician in the laboratory of Dr. Randall Bateman, which investigates the causes, future diagnosis and treatments of Alzheimer's disease utilizing a wide variety of assays and techniques from basic applications, such as quantitative measurement of stable-isotope labeled peptides and clinical translational studies in diagnostic and therapeutic biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease. Duties in this role include sample preparation, sample running and Mass spec for any projects run by or in collaboration with the Bateman Lab/SILQ Center.
