The Hotamışlıgil Lab at Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health is looking for a Research Associate, with specialization in project management and strategic allianceship. The Research Associate will work closely with the lab members, coordinate and advise projects, oversee the development, execution, and evaluation of high-impact collaborations. This role benefits from a strong scientific background, preferably in antibody-based therapeutic development, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to navigate the academic–industry interface to advance research and innovation.
Acting as a trusted “right hand” to the Principal Investigator (PI), the incumbent will provide strategic, operational, and logistical support to ensure that partnership initiatives run smoothly, deliverables are met, and institutional goals are achieved.
Key responsibilities include:
The role requires an advanced degree (MD, PhD, ScD or equivalent), typically with at least 2 years of postdoctoral research experience; 5–10 years of biopharma/biotech or drug development experience and hands-on therapeutic antibody and/or biologics experience are strongly preferred. A strong track record in scientific communication, strategic thinking, project execution, and familiarity with intellectual property and industry partnerships is essential. This on-campus position is based in Boston, MA.
