The Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences in UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine (DGSOM) and the Division of Population Behavioral Health is seeking faculty to work as a part of a team emphasizing high quality, patient-centered psychiatric in-patient and/or outpatient care. Applicants specializing in adult, geriatric, child and adolescent neuropsychology and/or forensic neuropsychology are invited to apply.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences with an international reputation of excellence in education, research, and patient care. Time is allocated for didactic teaching, case conferences, and supervision of trainees. The successful candidate also will evaluate and treat their own patients. In addition, they will engage in scholarly or creative activities derived from and in support of their clinical teaching, professional, and service activities.
The department seeks applicants with a demonstrated commitment to academic and clinical excellence and diversity within our faculty, staff, and trainees. Teaching and supervisory experience of residents, fellows, interns and medical students is preferred. This recruitment is conducted at the Instructor/Assistant/Associate rank in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series. Determination of rank and step will be based upon background, training, experience, and overall track record.

The department is affiliated with The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA, which is an internationally renowned interdisciplinary research and education institute devoted to the understanding of complex human behavior and the causes and consequences of neuropsychiatric disorders.
Additionally, the department has a highly respected resident and psychology training program. This training program has access to a variety of clinical training sites, each of which provides trainees with a unique learning experience.
