The Department of Radiation Oncology and Molecular Radiation Sciences at Johns Hopkins University is seeking a highly motivated Assistant/Associate level faculty member with a strong academic trajectory in radiotherapy technology development and scientific innovation in medical physics. This position is primarily research-focused, aimed at advancing the scientific foundations and technological capabilities of radiation therapy. The successful candidate is expected to possess a demonstrated track record of academic research productivity, including impactful publications, presentations, or grant activities, and exhibit strong potential to build and grow a competitive research program. The faculty member will be responsible for developing an impactful research program, engage in collaborative scientific initiatives, and contribute to teaching and mentorship within our medical physics education programs. Depending on qualifications, expertise, and departmental needs, the candidate may be assigned clinical responsibilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to contributing to the programmatic growth of the department.
Qualifications: Ph.D. Degree in Medical Physics or related fields. Demonstrated academic track record.
Preferred Qualifications: Board certification in medical physics.
