This is an exciting opportunity for a lecturer/senior lecturer to join a visionary and collaborative academic community at the forefront of artificial intelligence research and education. Working closely with Professor Tim Miller, you will contribute to a strategic partnership between The University of Queensland and the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET) in Patiala, India to establish a joint Centre of Excellence in Data Science and AI.
In this role, you will undertake impactful cross disciplinary research, engage with industry partners, and help shape the next generation of AI professionals in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment aligned to UQ's commitment to creating change together.

The person appointed will be expected to undertake occasional travel to Thapar, where the institute will host them on their Patiala campus.
