Multiple vacancies are available at either the Metrology Development Engineer II or Senior Metrology Development Engineer level. This position may be filled at the higher-level title, relative to the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.
The selected candidate will work as part of a close-knit team in establishing the measurement and characterization infrastructure for Texas Institute for Electronics (TIE). A Metrology Development Engineer II or Senior Metrology Development Engineer must be well-versed in all aspects of thermal and mechanical metrologies spanning fundamental theory and design to practical application of novel measurement methods. Essential to the role is collaboration with engineers and technicians across TIE to anticipate and address their design and development needs, assist in process and tool optimization, and participate in industry standardization efforts. The ideal candidate will be an excellent team player and serve as a critical member of the product development engineering team.
The Senior Metrology Development Engineer helps the design, process and quality development efforts related to semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes that will enable the 3DHI systems of the future.
