At the Division of Clinical Epidemiology at the Department of Medicine, Solna, we are at the forefront of research in clinical epidemiology. Join our research group in reproductive epidemiology, which consists of researchers, postdoctoral researchers and doctoral students conducting studies on pregnancy, childbirth and the neonatal period using national health and quality registers as well as clinical intervention studies. We are looking for an engaged and meticulous research assistant with a Master's degree in Nutrition or a related relevant field, who wants to contribute to ongoing research projects in nutrition, pregnancy, women's health and epidemiology.
As a research assistant, you will work closely with researchers and other members of the research group and contribute to different parts of the research process. The tasks will vary depending on ongoing projects and may include both research-related and administrative tasks. These may include literature searches, reviewing and summarizing scientific literature, data management, and assisting with various aspects of ongoing research projects. You may also contribute to clinical research studies, such as the PEPP study, and assist with practical and administrative tasks related to the conduct of the studies.
The role involves both independent tasks and close collaboration with researchers, doctoral students and other members of the research group.

The position is located within the department of medicine, Solna. The department consists if 10 divisions. This position is placed within the Reproductive Epidemiology research group, a young and rapidly growing group within the Division of Clinical Epidemiology, comprising approximately 40 clinical researchers, postdoctoral researchers and doctoral students.
Our research focuses on risk factors and interventions during pregnancy, childbirth and the neonatal period, as well as medical outcomes for mothers and newborns. We have strong collaborations with clinical departments in pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, as well as with other national and international research groups and organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO).
The group has extensive experience in research on perinatal outcomes using advanced methods in biostatistics and clinical epidemiology. We are a friendly and well-functioning group.
