The Department of Biomedicine at Faculty of Health at Aarhus University invites applications for a position as a scientific assistant to autoimmune diseases as per 1 July 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is a fixed-term full-time position for 3 months.

Your job responsibilities as research assistant include laboratory-based research and data handling and interpretation. You contribute to the development of the department through teaching and research of high international quality. In your daily work, you have a close interaction with competent colleagues, including both senior and junior researchers. Your main tasks will consist of:
You will report to the Associate professor Stinne Greisen.
You have a background within immunology and systemic sclerosis research and you have a master's degree within molecular medicine or similar. You have prior experience with in vitro cell cultures, western blotting, flow cytometry, electrophoresis, immune florescence staining and confocal microscopy. It will also be considered an advantage if you have a prior experience in working with patient derived autoantibodies and you have knowledge of the PD-1 pathway in autoimmune diseases, especially systemic sclerosis. As a person, you have good interpersonal skills, are inclusive and team-oriented and able to contribute to a good work environment. We expect you to be fluent in oral and written English.
