The research group, led by Professor Magnus Tägil, is part of the Division of Orthopedics. Our research focuses on experimental orthopedics, with a particular emphasis on biomaterials science. We work with injectable bone substitutes that enable controlled drug release within the following areas: bone regeneration, bone infections, and bone cancer. The research group consists of Professor Magnus Tägil, Associate Professor Deepak Raina, and two doctoral students. We are now looking to expand the group by recruiting a research engineer. The research group is based at the Biomedical Centre (BMC) in Lund, located adjacent to Lund University Hospital. The group collaborates with partners in Denmark, Germany, and Lithuania.

The position is a fixed-term employment according to the Special Fixed-term Employment (SÄVA) regulations §5 p1 LAS, and it is full-time. The desired start date is 2026-06-01 or as agreed upon, with an end date of 2027-05-31.
