The Albanus Lab in the Department of Neurology is seeking an outstanding, highly independent applicant to join the lab as a Research Laboratory Manager, overseeing and managing operations and personnel. The position is responsible for enabling the lab to generate state-of-the-art multi-omic libraries (single-cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, spatial transcriptomics, etc.) from precious human and mouse brain tissue samples to understand the biology of human aging, with a focus on neurodegenerative diseases and personalized medicine. Performs, oversees and coordinates research projects. Oversees entire laboratory setting to promote smooth operation, regulatory compliance and interaction with other laboratories.
