The Mass Spectrometry Technology Access Center (MTAC) at WashU, St. Louis has an opening available for highly motivated applicants for the position of Research Technician I. The MTAC is a newly created recharge facility within the McDonnell Genome Institute (MGI) serving regional, national, and worldwide researchers for their Mass spectrometry needs. This position assists with the technical aspects of wet-lab processes including documentation and preparation of mass spectrometry samples following well established Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs). The Research Technician I is responsible for the preparation of protein samples for proteomics analysis or extract metabolites/lipid for metabolomics applications.

Salary Range: $16.54 – $22.35 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
