The Senior Research Fellow will contribute to the delivery of a programme of applied research in dementia, ageing and mental health. The post-holder will lead and support quantitative analyses, contribute to study design and interpretation, prepare manuscripts and reports, and work closely with collaborators across UCL and external partners. They will be expected to bring strong methodological skills, excellent academic writing, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative research team.
The post is offered at Grade 8- £54,931 (pro rata) per annum at 0.4 FTE, equivalent to 2 days per week and is available from November 2026 until August 2027 in the first instance. This appointment is subject to UCL Terms and Conditions of Service for Research and Professional Services Staff. This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require right to work in the UK to carry out this role.
The successful candidate will have a PhD or equivalent research experience in psychology, epidemiology, statistics, health data science or a related discipline. They will have strong quantitative research skills, experience analysing complex datasets, and a track record of producing high-quality academic outputs. They should be able to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and communicate clearly with academic, clinical and wider stakeholder audiences.
