About the Position

As a Scientist – Expert in Biophysical Characterization of Vaccines within our Analytical Sciences team, you will be responsible for the structural and functional characterization of vaccine antigens and formulations using advanced analytical techniques. Main Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced biophysical structural characterization methods (DSC, nanoDSF, ITC, CD, FTIR) and qualify them according to good research practices
• Perform structural characterization of protein antigens, mRNA, and LNP-mRNA complexes using spectrophotometric and calorimetric approaches
• Resolve complex product anomalies and conduct comparative analyses on vaccine formulations to identify causes of atypical behaviors
• Provide biophysical expertise on multiple vaccine programs in collaboration with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs teams
• Mentor team members and ensure knowledge transfer while maintaining active scientific vigilance
• Publish and present results in international journals and at scientific conferences

About You

• Experience: Solid experience in biophysical characterization in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, ideally applied to vaccine development
• Know-how and know-how: Advanced expertise in calorimetric and spectrophotometric techniques applied to biological macromolecules
• Knowledge of protein and mRNA vaccine platforms
• Excellent scientific communication skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Autonomy and scientific rigor

The salary range for this position is €48,000.00 – €64,000

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
