KIT combines fundamental research at the methodic level with engineering applications in the field of process simulation. The focus is on the systematic transition from the simulation of individual process steps to the simulation of complete processes, enabling a holistic and systemic representation of entire production chains in process engineering. The objective is to develop new methods for particle technology that facilitate rapid and efficient process design and optimization. Against this background, we are filling the Tenure-Track Professorship (W1) in Process Simulation (f/m/d), which is expected to make a visible contribution to the sustainable transformation of industrial processes.
