The Falcone Lab group in the Biological Sciences department is accepting applications for a Research Technician for candidates with a Bachelor of Science in Biology or a related field. This project is aimed at investigating the roles of varicose projection astrocytes in Alzheimer’s disease, at the molecular, cellular, and functional level. The goal is to better understand how this astrocyte subtype contributes to disease pathology, and to identify new avenues for therapeutic intervention. The successful candidate will receive raining, regular mentorship, and support for professional development.
