Postdoctoral fellowship positions are available in the Maitra Lab at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Our lab conducts innovative translational research in pancreatic cancer, in a diverse, supportive and highly collaborative environment. The current positions will address projects pertaining to genetically engineered models of cystic pancreatic neoplasia, tumor immunology, tumor metabolism and functional genomics in pancreatic cancer. Prior research experience in any of these areas during graduate school training is desirable, but not mandatory. Most importantly, you should have a burning desire to make a differences in the lives of people with cancer and a passion for cancer research. Multiple professional development opportunities, including participation and presentations at meetings and workshops, stewardship on authored publications and avenues to obtain extra- or intra-mural grants, are available for trainees.
