Description of the workplace: The Clinical Memory Research Unit conducts research on Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. For several years, the research group has been at the forefront of the field. The group is led by Associate Professor Niklas Mattsson-Carlgren and consists of research and technical staff. Work duties and areas or responsibilities: The position involves leading and contributing to research projects in genomics and proteomics, performing relevant statistical and bioinformatics analyses, and integrating the research group's genomics and proteomics data with other types of data. The duties also include developing databases for both internal and external use, with a focus on genomics and proteomics data generated through the group's research, as well as developing new and relevant research methods in genomics and proteomics.
