Kavli Institute for Nanoscience Discovery & Department of Chemistry, South Parks Road, Oxford
Are you passionate about pushing the boundaries of protein science? We are seeking a talented and driven postdoctoral researcher to join a BBSRC-funded project in Single Molecule Proteomics. This ambitious initiative is led by Professor Justin Benesch and brings together a multidisciplinary team from the Universities of Oxford, Liverpool, and Cambridge.
About the Project
This collaborative effort aims to revolutionize how we identify proteins and their modifications—especially phosphorylation, which plays a critical role in regulating protein function but remains elusive with current technologies. We're developing a novel platform to uncover the hidden dynamics of proteins in health and disease.
Your Role
As a postdoc on this project, you'll be part of a dynamic team working at the intersection of computational biology, molecular biophysics, and cutting-edge analytical technologies. You'll contribute to the development and application of computational methods to understand protein folding, structure, and interactions.
We're Looking for Someone With:
Why Join Us?
You'll be working alongside leading scientists including Philipp Kukura, Dirk Aarts, Hagan Bayley, Madhavi Krishnan, Yujia Qing, Yarin Gal, Kevin Foster, Claire Eyers, and Sarah Teichmann. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a transformative project with real-world impact, in a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment. If you're excited by the challenge of uncovering the hidden layers of protein biology and want to be part of a pioneering team, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply now and help shape the future of proteomics.
